Thank you for the “Scene at Sakina Masjid”. I was there in September 2008, which was during Ramadhan. I went to meet Moallim Ismail, after 40 years absence from Mombasa. He used to be my Quranic Teacher. I last saw him in December 1966. I used to go to Sakina Masjid every weekday after school to learn to read the Quran. When I went back in 2008 and asked about my teacher, I found out that he had passed away a few months before. May Allah bless my Quran Teacher Moallim Ismail of Sakina Masjid. Ameen.
Since 2008, every Ramadhan I think of Mombasa, Sakina Masjid, and my Teacher and how I missed meeting him by only a few months. It is as if you read my thoughts and posted this clip of Sakina Masjid. I want to thank you for the clip.
