“O Allah, on this day make our fasts the fasts of those who fast (sincerely), and our standing up in prayer of those who stand up in prayer (obediently), awaken us in it from the sleep of the heedless, and forgive us our sins”.
May I take this opportunity to wish you, your family, friends and loved ones, a Blessed Month of Ramadhan … May Allah’s Mercy and Blessings be with us throughout this holy month and throughout the year. May all our good deeds & du’as be accepted. May all our wishes be fulfilled and all our sins forgiven. Ameen Inshaallah.

“The sun never says to the earth, ‘You owe me.’ Look what happens with a love like that. It lights up the whole sky.”
“On each morsel, it is manifestly written: This for him, the son of such person, the grandson of such person.”
“What is yours prescribed, you will be given – If you don’t take it, you will be forced to!”
“What is destined will reach you, even if it be underneath two mountains. What is not destined, will not reach you, even if it be between your two lips!”
“Man is the weak being who, in spite of all his self-importance and pride of wealth and capital, is vanquished by the smallest microbe.”
Glorious God stated: “Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him.”
“Man is the being who is involuntarily and voluntarily busy with himself and his surroundings, between two broadcasting stations of good and evil, until one or the other ultimately prevail.”
Without hardship, there is no treasure; he who worked is paid in full measure.”
“The One Who created the heart, He knows about it.”
“…Do not render vain your deeds by a reminder of your generosity and annoying the people to whom you have given assistance or help purely for the sake of God.”
“He who has done an atom’s weight of good will receive his rewards, and he who has done an atom’s weight of evil will receive his punishments.”
“Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to people”.
Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 9, #473
Avoid cruelty and injustice for, on the Day of Judgment, the same will turn into several darkness’s; and guard yourselves against miserliness; for this has ruined nations who lived before you.
Riyadh-us-Salaheen, Hadith 203.
By his good character, a believer will attain the degree of one who prays during the night and fasts during the day.
Abu Dawood, Hadith 2233.

Righteousness is good morality, and wrongdoing is that which wavers in your soul and which you dislike people finding out about.
An-Nawawi’s “Forty Hadith,” Hadith 27.
If someone remarks: “What an excellent man you are!” and this pleases you more than his saying “What a bad man you are!” know that you are still a bad man.
If words come out of the heart, they will enter the heart, but if they come from the tongue, they will not pass beyond the ears.
Pray for what you want, but work for the things you need.
Whatever we perceive in the world around us tends to reflect who we are and what we care about most deeply, as in the old saying, “When a thief sees a saint, all he sees are his pockets.”
A donkey with a load of holy books is still a donkey.

A bird that you set free may be caught again, but a word that escapes your lips will not return.
As you teach, you learn.
As he thinks in his heart, so he is.
There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self.
When an elephant is in trouble even a frog will kick him.
“When the world pushes you to your knees, your are in the perfect position to pray.”
